It gave me a lot of perspective in the middle of some pretty tough times, particularly when Ryan was hurt and I felt some completel angry and out of control. I don't know if you have read this before, but I know it is a popular poem that really gave me some perspective. I hope it can do the same for you:

THE WEAVER
written by B.M. We will pray for no infections!

Sorry to hear about that negative comment...just got to remember that their are a lot of naive people out there that have no idea what you and your family are going through. It reminds me of when we were at Walter Reed when a group of protesters held up signs saying "Thank God for IEDs" and "Thank God for dead soldiers." Rob and I went to school in Guatemala.

I wanted to share the following dream with you as a promise of God for Rob's life: A couple of nights ago, I had a dream where I saw Rob and Chris having a good time in a living room and chatting like if they were long time friends. Rob's cognitive skills were perfect and I could tell both brothers were enjoying each others company. When I woke up I felt I needed to share this dream with you. Some times God speaks to us in dreams to reveal the future.

Today, I stand with you believing Rob's cognitive recovery will be completely normal so God's name will be exalted. My family and I will continue to pray for you guys, as we carry you close to our hearts.

I hope to meet you in person one day.

In Christ's love,
Evelyn JacksonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-427914240818002464.post-60457554677862380132008-11-20T14:29:00.000-05:002008-11-20T14:29:00.000-05:00You guys are always in our thoughts and prayers......You guys are always in our thoughts and prayers....I cannot wait for every update....Dena keep staying strong....I hope your girls get to be with you and Rob on Thanksgiving....The McGroarty'sAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-427914240818002464.post-21630380679473588832008-11-20T14:03:00.000-05:002008-11-20T14:03:00.000-05:00The Thunder Run has linked to this post in the blo...The Thunder Run has linked to this post in the blog post From the Front: 11/20/2008 News and Personal dispatches from the front and the home front.David Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18153191536633461987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-427914240818002464.post-14795047467891669112008-11-20T11:34:00.000-05:002008-11-20T11:34:00.000-05:00Jody Kerr says, I remember years ago when my husba...Jody Kerr says, I remember years ago when my husband had his 27th birthday in the ICU of the old St. Elizabeth hospital.
