We will pray as hard as we can for your family. You have amazing strength and I know you will make sure Rob has the best of everything to get through this. Julia & Eva are so lucky to have you both as parents. I'm so glad you set up this blog - you will have support beyond what you can imagine.

my heart just aches for your family. I'm praying for your family daily. God is still on His throne and will take care of Rob. The Bible says, "I'll never leave you nor forsake you." Joshua 1:5. Also please read Isaiah 41:13-14. These versus seem to help me when I'm going through rough times.

Dena,
You do not know me. I received a link to this website through a dear friend of mine whose hubby is in the Army. I just want you to know that I am praying for you, Rob, and your girls. May God comfort and sustain you in your journey.

My heart goes out to you and your family. We haven't kept in touch over the years, but this isn't what I expected to hear. Wayne and I live in Germany about 4 hours away from Landstuhl. If you need anything, we could come and visit. Please take care of yourself and we'll be praying for you.

Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. It doesn't matter that we don't know you personally, we just know that you are a special, dedicated family and we are honored be a part of your lives. As a nurse for the Military I know how big your hearts are and everyone who writes wants to help you in any way we can. We are one humanity. You are an amazing family and Rob is blessed by the extended family of the Military.

Dena----you don't know me but I work with Angie. You made the very best plan for your girls to send them to Nebraska to be with their Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Angie is a fabulous mom with enormous strength as you know, she will care for your girls like her own. She is incredibly calm in chaos and will show love and bring normalicy to the situation.

I pray for you and your husband and entire family at this time. Bad things happen to good people, and although it is hard to find a silver lining in this cloud right now--know that with faith you will.

Take care. Bev Conroy

Dena,
Jane Roberts has kept us updated on Rob's injury and the struggles you are both facing. I can't begin to tell you how sorry we are that this has happened.
We are reminded that in Psalm 23 the writer indicates that we will go into the valley of the shadow of death but God is there for us. God specializes in being in the awful with us. I am praying that God will give you peace and hope in this trying time and that Rob will recover. Rev Dimond

Just found my way to this site and wanted to add my prayers to the hundreds. I don't know any of you, I'm all the way down here in Texas, but I thank God every day for men like Rob and the wives and families who do what they do to make these men comfortable with being away from home and in the line of fire..

God bless him and all the rest of you, you are America and I am grateful..

To the Yllescas familey...

I am glad to hear that the Sir (cpt yllescas) is doing well. It was so good to hear that he was in stable condition. I was out on patrol when the attack happened. I could not see from my location but I felt that that something was not right. Thank god that he is alive. He is a very strong man and a great leader. I pray for his speedy recovery. Stay strong. We will get the guys that did this.

HEALING PRAYER
HEAVENLY FATHER I CALL ON YOU RIGHT NOW IN A SPECIAL WAY. IT IS THROUGH YOUR POWER THAT ROB WAS CREATED. EVERY BREATH HE TAKES, EVERY MORNING, AND EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY HOUR, ROB LIVES UNDER YOUR POWER. FATHER, I ASK YOU NOW TO TOUCH ROB WITH THAT SAME POWER. FOR IF YOU CREATED HIM FROM NOTHING YOU CAN CERTAINLY RECREATE HIM. FILL ROB WITH THE HEALING POWER OF YOUR SPIRIT. CAST OUT ANYTHING THAT SHOULD NOT BE IN HIM, MEND WHAT IS BROKEN: ROOT OUT ANY UNPRODUCTIVE CELLS, OPEN AND BLOCK ARTERIES OR VEINS AND REBUILD ANY DAMAGED AREA,OR TISSUES, REMOVE ALL INFLAMMATION AND CLEANSE ANY INFECTION. LET THE WARMTH OF YOUR HEALING LOVE PASS THROUGH ROB’S BODY TO MAKE NEW ANY UNHEALTHY AREAS SO THAT HIS BODY WILL FUNCTION THE WAY YOU CREATED IT TO FUNCTION. AND FATHER, RESTORE ROB TO FULL HEALTH IN MIND AND BODY SO THAT HE MAY SERVE YOU THE REST OF HIS LIFE. I ASK THIS TRHOUGH CHRIST OUR LORD. AMEN.

Dena & Rob,
You and your family are in our prayers. God has spared his life for a purpose. He is holding Rob in the palm of his hand. His loving arms are around you.

Dena, tell Rob that he is home and safe and that all of you are there. He can hear you even though he is not awake. He can hear you and will be comforted by knowing that he is home and safe.

Be patient. Let the drugs work and keep him comfortable. He will wake soon. The washouts are easier on him if he is asleep. You know that he hears you because of his respiration and blood pressure.

Take time for yourself. Rest, eat right, and take care of yourself so that you can take care of Rob.

Know that you are in our prayers.
